Optativas, Simetrías en Mecánica Cuántica

En este curso se revisan distintas Simetrías Cuánticas (Globales, locales e internas), desde la Invariancia Asistida por el Ambiente (Envariance) y la relación de ésta con la deducción de la regla de Born y el Teorema de Pitowsky, hasta los Grupos de Lie (sus Álgebras y Representaciones): SO(1,3), U(1), SU(2), SU(3), U(1)xSU(2)xSU(3), SU(4), SU(5),SU(2)xSU(2)xSU(4) (Pati-Salam), Spin(10); describiendo respectivamente: Rotaciones-Boost, Hypercargas Débiles, Spines (weak isospin), Sabores y Colores, Modelo Standard, Materia Oscura y Teorías de Gran Unificación (GUT’s). Se trata de un curso introductorio que pondrá las bases para subsecuentes cursos especializados en Física de Altas Energías y hará énfasis en los aspectos matemáticos y sus significados físicos.
Sin pre-requisitos no-triviales, se ha cursado con éxito por estudiantes desde 6to semestre.
El curso será evaluado principalmente con tareas (4 ó 5 en el semestre). Habrá, para quienes así lo quieran o re-quieran, un examen final.
