INTRODUCCIÓN A LA BIOFÍSICA Y FÍSICA MÉDICA. Biofísica de sistemas excitables
La biofísica como área interdisciplinaria, requiere de conocimientos básicos de física, biología, química y matemáticas. Éste es un curso introductorio, por lo que se revisa alguna información básica sobre las células y los sistemas fisiológicos, se presentan temas fundamentales para estudiar a las células excitables, que comprenden neuronas, músculos, marcapasos y algunas glándulas; también se revisan brevemente modelos matemáticos que describen algunas de sus propiedades básicas, o métodos de análisis más generalizados, asi como algunas situaciones de interés clínico.
