OBJETIVOS GENERALES
Que el alumno comprenda los conceptos de la teoría evolutiva
Que el alumno aprenda a analizar y conozca patrones de la evolución biológica
Que el alumno aprenda metodologías para probar hipótesis evolutivas
OBJETIVOS PARTICULARES
Que el alumno conozca el concepto de evolución y las evidencias de la evolución biológica.
Que el alumno comprenda el origen y las características de la variación genética
Que el alumno comprenda las causas, los efectos y los modelos que describen los procesos evolutivos que afectan a la variación genética dentro y entre poblaciones.
Que el alumno analice los patrones biológicos resultantes del proceso de selección natural y conozca metodologías para probar hipótesis adaptativas.
Que el alumno conozca los componentes de la variación fenotípica y las herramientas metodológicas para su análisis.
Que el alumno comprenda los conceptos teóricos y conozca los métodos de análisis de la evolución molecular y genómica.
Que el alumno analice los conceptos de especie y conozca los modelos de especiación
